Fine scented shaving soap. Lathers nicely and helps with a smooth shave.
I've used the DE5 razor for a couple of shaves to date - the first shave was with two days of growth and the second shave was with one day of growth - the blade was a Muhle blade for both shaves.
There was a bit of an issue screwing the handle onto the head of the razor - it was tight in certain places and smooth in others and squeaked all the way. Tried it several different times while wetting the razor but with the same results. However the blade appeared to be well clamped.
The shave was close without any nicks or cuts but one had to be careful around the lips and chin - both places needed some additional buffing as there is very little blade feel. This razor is mild with a somewhat large blade reveal - the manufacturer does not reveal the blade gap or exposure. Will measure it with my feeler gauge sometime later to update this review.
Cleanup is easy as it is a 3 piece razor and it comes apart very easily. I wish it was made of stainless steel or titanium - it is made of a zinc alloy and only the screw thread is stainless steel. Not sure how long the alloy will last but it seems to be well made
Great product, has an amazing scent and just the right amount of burn to appreciate a good shave!
Nice scent, unique while still feeling "classic". Will have to buy the corresponding aftershave soon!

I love this stuff, lathers easily, nice slick pillow, smells good with a bit of an underlying chill and I like the traditional artwork too.
This is a nice scent with a very nice feel after shaving. There is a good level of burn when it is applied and the scent stays for a decent amount of time. The true test is when I come downstairs and my wife comments that she thinks I smell good.
The aftershaves were great but one of them was empty. I reported this more than once. I was told a resolution was forthcoming but have yet to receive a replacement. Customer service is lacking.
I am so glad I purchased this Fine Bay Rum Aftershave. It instantly transports me to a Caribbean island, pina colada in hand. I can almost hear the waves crashing now.
I cannot brag enough about all of Fine’s products! This shave soap smells great and will last a long time.

The only thing preventing me from giving the discovery set 5 stars is the absence of Barber Blue.

Shipping and delivery were very prompt. Good safe packing for these liquids in glass bottles. These are high quality aftershaves, but a bit pricey. The price factor makes one think twice about making another purchase.
